Client cleared of criminal charges thanks to ARROWS's meticulous defense
ARROWS took over the defense of a client against whom the National Organized Crime Agency had initiated criminal proceedings for the crime of obtaining an advantage in the award of a public contract and the crime of accepting a bribe. According to the charges, the client, as a representative of a company organizing three tenders for the municipality, allegedly participated in the manipulation of tenders in favor of a predetermined construction company and, in this context, accepted bribes amounting to hundreds of thousands of Czech korunas. The contracts in question had a total value of approximately CZK 30 million.

Our defense systematically dismantled the evidence presented by the criminal justice authorities and pointed out its fundamental weaknesses. At the same time, under our guidance, we involved the client in an active, carefully prepared testimony strategy and presented evidence based on the relevant facts. The result was the complete dismissal of the criminal charges.
The case was led by Mgr. Oliver Uraz, LL.M., who has long specialized in criminal law and economic crime. His approach is based on precise work with evidence, procedural strategy, and consistent protection of the client's rights.
We would therefore like to thank our colleague, whose expert guidance, precise analysis, and strategic coordination were key to the successful outcome of this defense.
